HRE 540 3 piece wheels 17' & 18" set of 4
I have a set of 4 Chrome HRE 540 wheels from my C-5 for sale
The wheels are in excellent cosmetic shape only driven in CA and NV never in the rain
approx. 25K miles, no curb rash, dents, scratches, etc.,.
2 18" rears and 2 17" front
They come with chrome HRE center caps and chrome valve stem caps and 3 Pressure Monitoring Sensors
One of the wheels is leaking air and needs to be re-sealed
Cost new was $1250/ wheel
I need $995 for the set of 4 plus shipping
Shipping will be actual cost not to exceed max. of $150 for the set, to lower 48

To all that are interested in my HREs please note that in the initial ad, I stated that one wheel (rear) is leaking air. I suspect that it needs to be disassembled and resealed. At the present, I am in discussion with a forum member that is willing to deal with this problem but needs to check on a few things.

Other Forum members have claimed to done this repair
HRE's have a lifetime guarantee for workmanship. To have HRE repair it will require shipping to their facility in CA where they will disassemble it to determine what the problem is, the charge for this is about $50 plus shipping. They have a turn time of around 2-3 weeks (plus shipping time).
So to answer your question, yes the wheel can be repaired.
As far as fitment to a base C-6, I assume that It would, however with out the specifications for a C-6 wheel I cannot guarantee it. If you know measurements you would need I can measure and see.
I am looking to buy a C-7 and have little interest in repairing them and then trying to sell at a higher price. These are beautiful wheels and for the price, are a steal, in my opinion, even if it was for only 3 wheels.
