I was in the same boat as you guys

sucks now with the canadian dollar being so low, so i decided to make my own custom widebody lol

Id suggest ordering a set from extreme dimensions (corvette creations), they are reasonably priced and at least you will get to return them if they are flawed or dont fit right

Im considering buying the ones from Corvette Creations, but un-sure wether to go with the duraflex, or fiberglass, according to his site, they are the same price.

The duraflex is supposed to be more flexible and resistent to cracking and chipping.

Not sure if thats a quality id look for in a fender though, maybe a front lip or bumper cover.

I got the carbon creations, Not mounted up yet but the quality looks to be pretty nice. I've heard nothing good about duraflex anything.

Which ones did you get? Fiberglass or carbon?

They're all made of fiberglass, the carbon creations just has a carbon fiber layer on top as a finish. The actual structure is still fiberglass.

Mine do have the carbon finish.

Oh ok, i see.... But if you're going to paint over them why would you bother getting the carbon finish?

From what I was told by the seller and others is that the CC carbon fenders are more true to size, so to speak. They tend to fit better and require less work to fit than the duraflex counterparts.

Most of that is likely due to some people wanting to keep the carbon fiber finish, not everyone paints them to match. I'm on the fence on whether or not ill repaint my car as well.

All of them seem a bit hit and miss. There isn't a single maker of flared fenders for a C5 I haven't heard at least one horror story about. One exception being DDmods, That said. They're very new to the market. Judging by the quality of their other products, I'd feel safe buying them.

I would be interested, but my car is a coupe, so I dont think they would fit. i believe those only fit the Z's and FRC.
