Check out a site like Ebay for a Version 1.8 (newest one) and I'll beat any price they have. Everything is in perfect condition. I have all the parts including the box and even the styrofoam thingy.

I have yet to see a Version 1.8 go for under $375 on Ebay. I don't think radar detectors depreciate that much.

Just FYI, you can purchase a V1 from Valentine direct for ~$350. These units are the ones sent back by customers. They are rechecked and repacked w/ all original equipment. They look as if they've never been opened. You just need to ask them.

The ones sent back by customers are usually around $350 like the above poster mentioned. There is no reason I should sell mine for any less.

But these come with full warranty. Valetine people don't honor warranty on units resold from person to person, or so I've heard.

To clarify my statement, I'm NOT saying all people who buy on Ebay are morons, heck, I buy on Ebay, oops, not a good example. :lol: Anyway, I AM saying there are lots of people on Ebay who are naive, too trusting, uninformed, or whatever you want to call them, who don't research a product and get taken. I think V-1's are a good example, i.e., there are numerous versions of the V-1 and I've seen very old ones selling for nearly the cost of a much newer version. IMHO, it's foolish for this to happen, you know what they say, "caveat emptor". It pays to be an informed buyer because there are people out there who are more than willing to take the money of a fool. :cheers:
