I'm going to start by saying, we NEED to have a minimum of 10 people committed and paid in full for this to begin. I promise you once we get the number we need it will be a very fast process (2-3 weeks) These are being made by my new manufacturer that made the urethane diffuser posted below. These will fit perfect just like the urethane version, and are made in the USA.
I'm sure most of you have seen the other threads, but to make it easy, I'm using the same info.
Well, its FINALLY happened!! We are happy to unveil our new diffusers for the C5 Corvette. It's been years in the making as most of you know and after countless broken promises from a previous manufacturer, we finally got these finished.
These will be made out of real carbon, not an overlay. Mounting is very simple, there are four tabs on the back side, those you slide into the rear vents on the bumper and that will guide it into place. Once it's somewhat lined up you can adjust it as needed. You may also want to use a soapy solution and spray the rear bumper to give you a few seconds to move the diffuser around before the tape gets tacky. It's as simple as tightening down the nuts, then doing the same on the lower fin that goes under the fender. There are also 4 tabs that bolt on using your existing bolts above your exhaust. You'll see once it's in your hands, it's very straight forward, no need to pay someone to install it for you. It will include the hardware you need to mount it, which will be some washers and nuts (inserts are molded into it already) We don't provide the double sided tape that is recommended, but I'll post an email address to a guy that I have sent a lot of customer to, he has great prices and ships fast.

I made sure manufacturing knew that these had to fit really well, and he said they nailed it. They have a C5 rear clip, as you'll see in the pictures at their facility that they used for mock up and test fitting. I'm confident that you guys will be very pleased with these. A lot of work by a lot of people have gone into this. Special thanks to Rob (Stealth02) for his work in getting the prototype made and sent to us, for that we are calling it the Stealth C5 diffuser.

What does that mean? It means this is going to get started most likely next week. From there it's only 2-3 weeks until we have carbon diffusers in our hands.
I know a lot of guys reached out via pm and were worried about putting money down then having to wait to see if they would even be made, well that is not the case anymore. Now when you get your order in, it will be shipped in about 3 weeks. These will be the same quality as the urethane and will have the same precise fitment.

if you can also make some nice fendor flares that would be killer!!!!!, there is alot of people here who are in the market for tpe flares but they dont make them anymore.... as for this diffuser its really nice i love it and will definitely buy it as soon as my car is out the shop
I have 3 paid orders so far, and 2-3 pm's out there pending. I will allow those guys to get on board. However, pricing will have to go back up to $799 + $79 shipping in about 2 weeks. After that you'll no longer see these at $749.
Just sent in my payment! Could resist the urge... So stoked! Finally a diffuser for our c5s! The wait is over and now i can't wait! Again thank you for the details and the quick replies to my questions! Next I'll have to order the splitter and side skirts to match.
A little shaping of the C6Z splash gaurds and it's on. I did use the storm window clips on the sides. I also got some 1/4" flange bolts and rubber washers to go behind 1.5" fender washers and used a hex head #8 bolt in the sides instead of using the supplied hardware. Fits like a glove! <br >
