Buy a new one; only about $22 or so online. Check GM Parts Warehouse. Part # is 10332368 "Boot". If you're in a hurry, you can also get it from your local dealer for around $35.

The C5Z boot is the same as a C5 Coupe. Mine was ripped in the same spot as your boot. Also, the base of my boot was completely separated from the top, as though someone took the boot off without removing the shift ****. I bought a replacement at a local dealer -- arrived the day after I ordered it.
