Not at all. Would definitely wake the exhaust up with headers and x-pipe. When I did the first set of serious mods it was a built LS6 with AFR heads, comp cam, FAST 92mm intake, LS2 TB, Kooks 1 3/4 headers, x-pipe, and mids. Had Borla stingers on it very briefly, but went back to the Magnaflow a few days later. GLWS

Another vote for this exhaust.. I purchased mine from Charlie when I had my first Z. It sounded amazing with long tubes.
