QTP Proud To Annouce Our C5 Tri Y Header
Quick Time Performance is happy to introduce our Stainless Steel 5th Generation Corvette Tri Y Header!
Here at Quick Time Performance we did not just slap together a header for the C5 Corvette. We made a Tri Y header to really wake up the LS1/LS6 motor in the Corvette. An original design, not a copy of an existing one. We did not take the easy route but really sat down and created a header that would perform. And of course the headers are made out of 304 Stainless Steel. The only way to make a quality header.
Made of 304 Stainless Steel
Equal Length 1 3/4" Primaries
2" Secondary
2 1/2" Thirds
Easy Installation
With or With Out Air Tubes
Mates up to Random Tech X Pipes
Unique Tri Y Design!
High Torque Design
So what is a Tri Y Header?
In a TRI-Y header, the primary tubes are paired in a 4-into-2 and 2-into-l formation. This increases the cylinder scavenging effect and improves engine breathing by utilizing the exhaust velocity of one cylinder to help the exhaust velocity of another.
Bolts up to Random Tech X pipes and will be working with Random Tech on making a Dual QTEC X Pipe. We will be shipping these headers out begining of May.
If you order before May 1st its 10% off. So jump on board with these savings, because its very rare when i do run a special.
Any questions feel free to call us with any questions.

Well they look great. How about some HP-TQ #s and ( and especially track ETs) for some H/C and bolt on cars? Preferably against some of the proven headers already on the market. I think that I would personally like to see a 3" collector as opposed to a 2 1/2". Also howmuchacosta these babies? :)
We need another header thread going as it's been almost 3 days since the last 20 or so. :jester

Performance #'s? Cost? And do they boost low RPM torque at the expense of high RPM horsepower as most tri-y's do? :skep:

The collector is not 2 1/2", the 3rd pipe is 2 1/2". Then it gos to 2 3/4 to bolt to a 2 3/4" x pipe or flare out to 3" to a 3" x pipe. Price is $1250.00. They are very expensive to make and very time consuming because of the tri y. Its priced about the same as the other stainless steel systems out there.
We do not have track times on the headers yet. We just swaped the headers on a z06 and gain 15hp and 10tq. No tuning on the car. It gained all the way across the board. Add the R/T X pipe and some tuning i see 30-40 rwhp gains. On the way to the dyno i drove the car and in 3rd gear and give it some throttle and went sideways. It was an interesting drive to the dyno.

When will a 1 7/8" version be ready ?
And why is this header set 500 bucks more than your fbody set ?

Its the same price as our HVC Header. The tri y collectors are very time consuming.
Can not fit a 1 7/8" long tube around the oil pan. We feel its not needed for a 1 7/8 since this is a tri y. Making it a step style header. 1 3/4-2-2 1/2-3. I think this will work nicely on the bigger cube motors.
$1250 is for just the headers.

i know one thing. Even though i cant afford to buy different headers at this point, it is certainly nice to see how competitive this area of performance is for the LS1/6 customers. Competition like this always yields some great products for us.
