Can you give more details on this premium performance filter? Maybe a picture. Will you sell this seperately?

Our new premium performance filter was designed by us with the street driver in mind which most C5/Z06 owners are. We designed the filter to be the highest flowing air filter. Just to give you a idea, our premium filter flows twice as much air as a K&N filter to provide the maximum amount of air without bogging down the MAF or TB. We don't have any pics of the filter as of yet and we don't have any extra filters to sell separately, but we will in the next month or so. Right now, the premium filters come only packaged with our VR-B2s.

Our latest dyno results with our premium filter on a bone stock 04 Z06: 19 rwhp and 16 rwtq

Dyno results with the K&N filter on the VR-B2 on a bone stock 04 Z06:
14 rwhp and 10 rwtq

The car ran much better, more efficient during our testing of the premium filter over the K&N filter and cooler, not to mention the way the car felt powerwise.

Good question. I forgot to post our findings on the dyno with the VR-B3 velocity stack. With the VR-B3 velocity stack, we saw a 1 rwhp increase and a 3 rwtq increase. Keep in mind that that was the max value output on the dyno graph, but in some parts of the dyno graph pulls we saw upwards of 5-6 rwtq with the velocity stack over the dyno pulls without the VR-B3 velocity stack. It does work and for $29.95 extra, it is well worth the money!

Currently, our premium filters are combined only with the VR-B2s. We will have the premium performance filters available for purchase separately in the next month or so. Hang in there.

Since it was mentioned, was there much gain adding Powerduct to the Vararam?

On the dyno, we swapped the stock airbridge with our high flow carbon fiber air duct and initial results showed 6 rwhp and 3 rwtq, but after a 30 mile drive, the car relearned and then the dyno results showed a 2 rwhp and 1 rwtq increase.

This intake will be ok to use under hard rain conditions. The new VR-B2 has improved water troughs to prevent hydrolock.
