Did you buy LS1 Edit or HP Tuners ? LS1 Edit doesn't have a scanner ( just a beta version on Edit ). The first thing I done was scan . The first change was fans.

Aloha,
Nope, haven't purchased yet.I have a scanner, and was leaning toward LS1 edit, because there only 2 people on this rock that i know are decend and could maybe help me as i'm learning.
I'm open to all advise,if you and others think HP tunners is better,i can go for that.I should be getting it around christmas/new years.Gives me a month or so before long tubes. Then cam, intake, injectors a few months later.I'm hoping to get a handle on it by then.
Until then,maybe fans,torque managment,shift points.(auto - 3:15s)
My laptop(only for the tunning program)is windows 98,is that sufficient?
Thanks bro.

Aloha to you too my friend ( is that right or is there another word ),

I have both LS1 Edit / Hp Tuners. I would definately recommend Hp. I am by no means an expert but am learning along the way. I will share all what I have learnt with you Keep in touch. PM me and I'll give you my MSN handle .

Oh yeah , for Hp Tuners :

Minimum Requirements:
Windows 98SE or Better
350 mhz PC or Laptop
64 MB of RAM
Native Serial Port or PCMCIA serial adapter

Recommended Requirements:
Windows 2000/XP or Better
650 mhz PC or Laptop
128 MB of RAM
