Default Shift point question

I am about to try and adjust my shift points with my LS1 edit that i just got. Do i have to change the speed limit and rpm limit in every gear to raise the shift points? If so what do i have to do to do this right? My car is an
A4 with 3.42 gears and 2200 stall converter. Any help would be great.
Can someone show me a table as an example?

I'm not LS1Edit savy; but you can determine the MPH points by taking your Vette on the street; place the shifter in "1" and take the car up to redline... note the MPH.

Do the same in "2" and "3" (if you're brave enough )... each time noting the MPH @ redline.

Then set your WOT shift MPH to 2 mph less than your observed MPH... for each gear That's a good starting point.
