a friend of mine is doing a custom car, it has a ls1 corvette engine and computer mated to a f body auto tranny. the car starts and you can rev it with the shifter in park, as soon as it is put in drive it dies. anyone have some ideas to try? i thought it was maybe a anti theft thing but he said it was programmed out

The f-body operating system needs to be flashed in there. My guess is that it is stalling when it thinks it sees any vehicle speed, which is a trait of the y body security system. Nutshell, program it with the f-body OS.
