Default LS1Edit & HP Tuners Compatiable

Does anyone know if LS1Edit can read the PCM that is programmed with HP Tuners? I am hearing mixed answers. Currently my car is getting tuned with a HP 2-bar program. I have a copy of LS1Edit and I was wondering if I can still use it. I have heard yes and no on this one.

If it's a HPT custom OS, then no, no other software will be able to open or modify the tune.

LS1 Edit had a similar situation a while ago, but I believe they resolved it due to public backlash.

I have had issues from edit to an hp file...I have had tables not copy completely(dtc tables...2/3 missing) and odd translations in the ve and pe tables on one car. I have never had an issue going the other way but it still scares me that maybe something changed that I didn't see.
Good luck

Exactly, and since you said it was going to be a 2-bar custom OS, then your LS1 Edit will not be able to read or change the tune.
