Im thinking about buying a set up. which is the most economical way to go. I just have a small cam, 1.8 rockers, long tube headers, k&n intake a 2800 stall and 342 gears. and is tuning pretty easy to catch on to if you have some mechanic backround and such?

Alot of it parameters are basic and simple to adjust, for example idle, rev limiter, wot tuning, adjusting timing etc
But tuning is not a "natural" thing you can pick up.
once you're willing to read, read, and read some more, you can pick it up.
but tuning is definitely a never ending learning process that takes trail and error.
But you wont outgrow Hptuners

well i broke down and called the dealer and found out that my car was built in january and it has had the wiring kit installed and the corvette mechanic said that it probably just needed to be reprogrammed...I guess my next question is will this happen every time the batteryt dies and is worth me just buying a tuner
