Default A/C hot on driver side and cold on pass side

I spent some time yesterday fixing one of the headlight gears on my 99 C5. One of the steps in doing this was to disengage the negative going to the battery. All went great and I replaced the gear and put back together; headlight working perfect. Now though, I've got another problem. For some reason, the air conditioner is blowing ice cold air out of both passenger vents and at the same time warm to hot air out of the two driver side vents. I've never had this happen before....Any thoughts or help???

Thank you!

Sounds like actuator under dash needs to be replaced. HUGE issue on 2004+ chevy trucks.

I tried to reply the day I posted this to all of the responses and for some reason; I guess my post didn't go through. I wanted to thank you all for your responses. New Vette owner and this forum is Great! I actually unhooked the negative on the battery twice and the second time the A/C blew through both sides again! now just cross my fingers that was all that was needed...

Thanks again and cheers from Dallas!
