Best 42LB Injectors for Driveability/ Easiest to Tune?
Hey all, I'm considering using a set of GM OEM LS3 injectors with the FIC (Fuel Injector Connection) extenders for my heads/ cam build.
FIC also recommended the new Siemens 42lb injectors.
What about the new Bosch Gen III skinny 42lb injectors, that already come with an EV1 plug and need no adapters at all?

Larger than stock injectors don't make more HP----- they only help if your current injectors flow beyond about 80-85 duty cycles which is the industry standard--
You should 1st log your injectors duty cycles to see where you are at. Typically a hds/cam car is fine with stock injectors--When you use a SC or turbo yes you will or outgrow your stock ones
Large injectors tend to make idle and starting and coast down fueling a bitch--They are so large they can't inject such a small pulse at idle type RPM'S

I have a 2003 Z06 with LTs/x-pipe, CAI, tune and I am hitting high 80s, couple blips of low 90s duty cycle with my stock injectors. I have read the stock injectors are 28.8 lb/hr and when I plug in some numbers into "fuel injector calculators" it confirms that I am about at the limit of the stockers.
I am still looking into what route I want to take as far as injectors... I want something that is a simple install, pnp or close to it. I believe stock injectors are EV1 and LS2/LS3/LS7 and most aftermarket we'd be looking for are EV6, which should be just fine for getting a solid idle.

Looking more into it.... I will double check with my tuner first, but I will probably be going with Bosch Gen III skinny body w/ EV1 connectors. Either 36lb or 42lb.

42LB: 0280150558

I will probably get the FAST 36lb set... appears to be exact same thing, but feel most comfortable ordering thru a big vendor like Summit: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fst-303608/overview/
Flows around 42lb/hr at 4 bar/58psi pressure, should be plenty for a H/C/I build.
