i have a 2001 c5z making 720rwhp n/a with nitrous, my lpe 255 pump and hot wire kit, it drops to about 40psi. looking to see what is needed to drop in a c6z fuel pump basket in 2001 c5. or any other alternatives??? i dont want to change regulator

The early c5 fuel system is very different than late c5 (started mid 2003) and c6 in that the late style fuel pump drops in from the top of the tank whereas the early system has the pump inserted into the side/bottom of the tank.

I'm not saying you can't find a way to make it work, but I would expect that it isn't plug-n-play.
