Is the throttle body an aftermarket 90mm throttle body or a factory piece.

As far as I know the problems occur when guys use the 102mm throttle body. Of course there are those out there who manage to get them to function.

I've never heard of any fast intake by themselves being difficult to tune.

Yea it an LS2 style, but brand new, and just had new seals on the 102. I also cleaned the MAF, hopefully this will make the tune better.

I suppose it's all relative and based on your definition of "perfect." I would say an new Z06 would run perfect, and unless you have engineers and resources like GM, no tuner will get it "perfect." Pretty good, maybe. Totally drivable - of course. If you have drivability issues, then get a new tuner.

The more power and mods you have the harder it is to get a"perfect" tune....but I'd be real uncomfortable if my tuner was giving up and telling me ahead of time not to expect good results..... I'd rather have a tuner tell me he'll do the best he can and rock the tune to make me happy...maybe find different tuner with more experience...
