1998 tuner
Anyone make a good tuner for the 98 model, all seem to start at the 99 model. I'm new to the Vette scene and just purchased a cherry 29000 mile C5 so I'm still learning, did a serch but without much luck. Thanks for any info

Congrats on your new car----1st of all I would stay away form all handheld type tuners other that the Diablo-Sport---- They simply don't address enough tables to gain any real value in your tune---Especially if your car is an automatic
And the 97-98 C5 ECM's both are in a similar grouping---99-04 is another grouping 2005 is a year all on it's own ----2006-2013 again is in the same grouping and finally the 20014-2016 another new grouping
IF you plan on any future mods it would be best to get a full tune with either HP or EFILIVE as then they can re-tune your car for much less to accommodate your new mods-- Diablo can as well----
If you are planning NO future mods then a mail order tune would be the best performance wise and cost effective----There are several awesome mail-order tuners here on the forum

Check with Mike Carnahan, mike@vengeancepcm.com, at Vengeance Racing. He came highly recommended to me by some local guys at a car show, and tuned my C5 Z to perfection!
