I live in the Santa Barbara, CA area, and I recently converted my A4 to a Z06 M12 trans. I pulled out all of the F55 option hardware in the process, and now I have the "MAX SPEED 80 MPH" problem on the DIC. I have HP Tuners, but I am trying to find someone with a Tech 2 to delete the F55 option from the BCM (it's listed as F45 option on the Tech2 interface).

I've heard that it can be difficult to find a dealer who will delete the option, and that's basically what I've found.

I'm going to buy a Tech 2 if I can't find anyone, but I'd be grateful if there's someone in the area who can help me out. I will gladly pay you for your time.

I picked up a Tech 2 and did the F45 delete myself. If anyone in the Santa Barbara area needs a hook-up, just send me a message. I've also got HPtuners.

Yes indeed, I picked one up on eBay and it's been working flawlessly so far. It looks like a really solid, well made unit. I figured I would sell it after doing the F45 delete, but I like it so much, I'm going to hang onto it.
