Default What tuner?

I have tried searching for what different types of tuners everyone is using and haven't really come up with much. Is everyone using HPtuner or are there other programs out there? Any write ups on how they are tuning on the street vs on a dyno?

HP Tuners is one of, if not the most, popular to use and seems to be what most guys lean towards. It's what we use.

Don't waste your time or money on a mail-order tune. Take it and have it done on a dyno and do it right the first time. Make sure that once your tuner is done on the dyno he goes out for a drive with you and checks/adjusts everything in "real-world" driving conditions.

Before you buy you can load FREE Demo 's of both HP Tuners and EFILIVE--- Play with them both make changes and learn the tables----You just won't be able to download the new tunes into your car----I did that 12 years ago and chose EFILIVE---To me their tables are much easier to navigate around and simpler to figure out---- the tables come with brief descriptions as well
Same goes for both the data loggers--EFILIVE is far easier to use-Pricing is similar---

I tried looking and I didn't find requirements needed to run it. Looks like I'll have to drag the desktop out to the car to tune it.

If I remember right, they want you using a laptop that way you aren't plugged into the wall of your house.. Something to do with potentially frying the PCM..

I was joking about the desktop. I was able to get my old windows laptop to work.
