Default Severe misfire

Need help chasing a severe misfire. Engine misfires when cold started. Misfire is so bad it shakes the car when under power. Also will pop from time to time. As the car comes up to operating temperature the skip will lessen and eventually go away. It is most noticeable when under power and the engine is luging just a little. This skip is serious like it is only running on 5 or 6 cylinders.
NO Check engine light and NO codes????????????
2000 A4 with 38500 miles
Ported & polished throttle body
Z06 airbox with K&N filter
Z06/LS6 intake manifold
Kooks long tubes with X pipe and Corsa Pace cars
Need help on where to start looking.

Have you tried look at the condition of some plugs? Has to be spark or fuel issue, if nothing found then it has to be computer related.

I'd start witht the spark plugs, just check a few it won't hurt.

A major misfire is most often due to a closed gapped plug or a bad wire--strange you are not getting a misfire code--However if your car was previously tuned most often tuners will delete the misfire tables in your tune----As with certain mods you will get "false misfires"
If you can hear the misfire then it is a REAL misfire--Check all your plugs again as well as your wires--Make sure the wire "snaps onto the coil" when installing them
Also with LT headrs----they often will touch the exhaust tubes----worse when the engine gets hot---You must have quality wires and have at least 1/4 to 1/3 inch clearance between the plug boot and the exhaust pipes--
