Default How to remove LS1 Edit key???

I'm wanting to remove LS1 Edit from my PCM and switch over to HP Tuners. I want to load the stock flash program and remove the LS1Edit key back to the dongle. I can't find instructions anywhere on how to perform the operation. Obviously I can load the stock flash program back to the PCM but how do I remove the LS1 EDIT key from the PCM back to the dongle and have a clean PCM??
Thanks.

Maybe ask the LS1 Edit guys.
Probably has something to do with the VIN lock
to 1 pcm.
I think they're still around with their
Windows 98 looking software?

A dealer can reflash your ECM back to stock EVEN if it was password locked by LS1 EDIT
Also When an ECM is locked it normally becomes "write only" which means it cannot be read anymore other than by the original tuner--But sometimes depending on how they locked it ---it still can be overwritten by HP or EFILIVE by doing a "full flash" instead of the normal "cal flash" Try doing a FULL FLASH with your HP and see if that works----If not then you can take it to a dealer and have them flash it back to bone STOCK

I am the tuner.
What I was looking for is "after" I reflash the PCM with the stock flash, how do you move the key from the PCM back to the interface module.
Per LS1 Edit, you can't!
I can with a Smarty Tuner.
The key is permanently on the PCM. So that's $150 I'm out. So if anyone is looking for a LS1 interface module for 97-98 with two keys, I have one for sale.

you can't do that with any tuning program. that's how they make money. once you use the credit/key, it's done for.

LOL. Well, Someone needs to tell Mads Smarty that because that is how it is for my 08, 6.7 Cummins. I'm going to be removing the Smarty and tuning it with HP Tuners. Since Smarty doesn't sell the Smarty with the Middle East tunes anymore because of the Feds, I will be able to sell it for more than I paid for it.
