My coworker is dead set that he wants to get the DiabloSport i-1000 for his 98 automatic C5.. I told him i wasnt really sure if he will or feel any gain with it..
I see on internet it says for 99 and up year's. And also coworker gave me that part #
After i did a search im thinking he would want the INTUNE I2
Any info would be great and or if he should get the newer DiabloSport i2.

And if anyone added this to a c5, and what was the out come. ? Better ?
OH , He is stock right now except for Axle back exaust.

The only hand held tuner I know of for a 98 is a Hypertech Max Energy.
Diablosport does not make one. I have one that I would sell, PM me interested.

1998 is not supported... it will not work on that car...

From what read, i dough't he will notice anything.. or very little..
10-15 hp is hard to notice.. And does this firm up tran's ???
Possible with a different air filter ???? Better ?

I did not want to send my PCM out second some of the tuners that do it remotely are $500 and up and live dyno tune is about $400 I did not what to spend that much since I dont have any bolt on on my car

I got the hypertech. I used it for
setting fans to come on at 200.
Shift improvement set at 75%
I used the can tune not sure if it did much but what the heck
Also change the shift points 1,2,3,4 . this really help keep the car in gear longer.

I bought mine from ebay for $80.00. Besure what ever you get that it is unlock from previous car.
