I've posted in the HP Tuner's forum requesting people to post if they want a VCM Suite for 97 LS-1s. I e-mailed Keith and he told me they don't have current plans to get a package out for the 97's anytime soon and even mentioned the option of putting a 98 PCM in my car. I guess if I have to, I will, but only as a last resort. If there are others out there that want the VCM Suite for 97's, reply to my post on the HP Tuners forum and show that there's a market for it.

Count me in for a '97... Come on Keith, don't leave us hanging... I really don't want to send more $$$ to carputing... Just add it into the '98 suite.

It's disappointing because it's taking so long for HPTuners to put together a package for the 97's. I kinda understand, since there aren't as many 97's on the market, but that's what I own and I don't want to go with LS1 Edit since I'd have to buy EFI Live to go along with it. With HPTuner's package, which is similar in cost to LS1 Edit, you get the whole shebang.

I just bought ls1 edit for my 97 vette. I signed up for there mailing list and to make a long story short they are adding logging and are almost done with the data logging software and it sounds like it will be free of charge.

I too would order a 97 HP Tuner right away as soon as available - Count me IN ! Can you please post the link to your thread on the hp tuners forum ?
I emailed with keith already and he said a 97 Version will be out within a few week. Seems at least they changed their minds of not offering one at all . . .

I received an e-mail from Keith 9/16/04 in response to one I sent. He's really responsive; great customer service. Anyway, he wrote, "I would say we are a few weeks away. We are working on it though." Maybe he'll get it done soon enough for my "winter projects." Here's the link to the thread:
