Default p1120 p1220 p1516 TAC module bad?

Looking over the repair manual, it seems this is the cause of my problem. I'm going to replace it tomorrow. Anyone have any problems with their TAC madule going bad, and if so, what caused it?

Yes, Some members have had the TAC module go bad. Before you change the TAC module, check the ground points for poor connections. I could be something as simple as that. The first one I would check is under the hood near the fuse block and battery. I'd give you a better explanation, but I don't have the car here to look at. The signals from the sensor for the accelerator pedal and the two sensors in the throttle body have to agree or the codes will set. A bad ground can cause those signals to fluctuate. See if you can contact forum member Bill Curlee. He's done some extensive troubleshooting in that area. Good luck. Let me know how it turns out.
