Z51 vs Z06 sway bars
Im ordering Bilstein sports for my slammed vette... I am debating on purchasing new sway bars... Is it worth to upgrade my Z51 front sway bars for Z06 front bar? I thought i saw a post that had pics and the Z51 and Z06 sway bars look identical? Or should i just go with T1 bars w/Bilstein sport shocks...

If you own a 99FRC both bars are different then a Z06. If it is a 2000 then your rear swaybar is the same as a Z06. Swaybars are used for balancing the car front to back. If your front end understeers then you would put a stiffer rear bar on or a softer front. If your car oversteers then you would put on a softer back on or a stiffer front. So it's really up to you on what you want your car to do.

I’m running Z06 sways and Bilstein Sports on my 99 HT with Bridgestone S03’s. I don’t think it’s too harsh, mostly do to the tires (mostly) and handles like a dream at very high speed. I’ve heard T1’s are very stiff and should be installed with the whole package (springs, shocks, alignment) but maybe some of the T1 guys will chime in. – C.
