Default Help with H-pipe removal

I'm replacing the H-pipe section on my 03 Z06 with a Bassani x-pipe. When I remove the h-pipe do the cats remain on the car or do they come off with the h-pipe???

Thanks,
Greg

The instructions for the TPIS headers say this is a two person job but I did just fine by myself. The mid section isn't that heavy. Just put a few blocks of wood under there so when you pull it loose it doesn't drop and land on your toe or something. Of course, it would have been a lot easier with help but none was available at the moment.

So, what do you do when you want to put in an aftermarket x-pipe? The x-pipe is a small piece.
Thanks

If it's shorter than your H pipe, sounds like you'll be doing some fitting/welding. Get with the people that sold it to you.
