Is the clutch on the 2004 coupe the same clutch mechanism on the ZO6. I was told that after 2002 they were the same?

Totally unrelated to your question, but I haven't seen that album cover since the 80's. I saw the Scorpions back then as a teenager. Wasn't Rudolph Schenker the guitar player? Sorry to hijack your thread, couldn't resist reminiscing about the past.

You are correct.........All 2001 and later have Z06 clutch.
