Default 450 hp at rear?

Just wanted to ask what it would take to get 450 rear wheel hp, normally aspirated and still be a daily driver? Car is going to Dallas tuner this spring/summer.

A well matched heads/cam package, intake, exhaust and a few bolt-ons should get you right about where you are looking to go. Total cost should be less than $10K including installaton and tuning. I am at 405 RWHP with an A4, mild cam (which is 4 years old) and 3.90 gears. The new packages are easily making over 430 RWHP on A4 cars.

I would figure about (off the top of my head, some may be a little off):

Cam - $450
AFR heads - $2100
LS6 intake - $500
Long tubes w/ cats/xpipe - $1850
CAI - $250
cat back - $800
double roller timing chain - $175
air bridge w/ smooth coupler - $150
pulley - $300
plugs and wires - $125
tune - $500

Install costs can vary quite a bit depending on where you have it done. Also didnt include gaskets, etc.. Getting the heads milled probably wouldnt be a bad idea either.

450 rwhp N/A is fairly simple and does not take a large cam at all. Can be done with a 224-228 cam. You will still have a very streetable car at 450 rwhp.
