Inch Vs foot lbs. conversion factor?

Default Inch Vs foot lbs. conversion factor?

I believe lug nut s are torgued to 100 ft bs, is there a conversion for inch pounds? How many inch pounds would equal 100 foot pounds?

100 ft.lb. X 12 inches / ft =1200 in.lb.

I hope that you don't plan on torqueing the lug nuts with an inch pound calibrated torque wrench.

OR anything that calls for inch pounds with a foot pound wrench... just askin for trouble
