What would you like to know? I have this cam in my 01 mn6 coupe. I had it installed and tuned at LGM. I guess what you want to know is does it make the advertised power? YES!!!!, it has a lopey idle. I was told today by an older gentleman that he hasn't heard a Vette sound that good since 67. This was one of the best mods besides the gear/diff change that I have made. Hope this helps, if you need any other info just ask.

As LG's webmaster, the specifics on the cam were left out for obvious reasons. There are numerous posts about this cam, and it's mannerisms. I think only a few of us actually know the specs. I can tell you this, I was one of the first to get the G5X-2 and those specs were a secret as well at the time.

You will not be dissapointed with the cam, I assure you!

The X3 will make the power, and has a nice muscle car lope to it that is music to most gearheads. Even so, the driveability (114lsa) has proven to be very good, it pulls well from low rpms and never seems to stop.

Like all cams, to make the best gains, it will need long tube headers, a good air intake, and a good dyno/tune. Then as the next stage, (which can be done down the road when it starts feeling slow) ported heads and FAST intake manifold for max. gains.

The ideal is to get the install done at LGM, but they can reccomend shops near you that are capable as well.

I don't think I've heard of anyone taking one out for something else...
