If I install a 170* thermostat on my 04 vert, what on/off temperatures do I set the fans at? I've heard it won't do any good to just install the thermostat without changing the fans. Short of buying "Predator", how do I get the temperatures changed?

Well just about any hand held tuner will do it, LS1 edit, hptuner, or a professional tuner. But the cheapest way probably would be a mail order tune, one of the forum vendors does this but I forget which one. As far as temps I used whatever the lowest setting hypertech III had available but I have sold that and can not remember what the settings were. It worked nice for drag racing and keeping my engine at a consistant temp.

1st on 191, off 183
2nd on 204, off 193

I am selling my Vinci Fan Controller for C5 and Z06 Corvette since I now have LS1Edit and used that to change my fan settings on my 2004 C5. The fan controller lists for approx. $200+ plus shipping. I will sell you mine for $125 plus shipping. Its in excellent condition.
