Default Predator Help for 2004 A4

I have been trying to install my Predator performance tune into my 2004 A4 for a week now. I have two issues that Diablo is working on but no luck yet.

1) With the performance tune installed, I can't "Modify Parameters" as you are supposed to be able to. Diablo claims it works on the bench. They also say I am doing everything right as far as the install is concerned.

2) I'm in Denver with an altitude of 5300ft. The drag strip is at 5800ft. With the Predator tune installed, there is absolutely no difference in ETs or MPH from the factory tune.

Anybody with a Predator tune for a 2004 have any ideas? The Diablo experts are stumped so I though I would try to Corvette Forum experts.

If the performance tune is installed in your unit, you can modify the tune by using SET PERAMETERS. This will allow you to change a/f ratio, fans, and all other items under pages 8 & 9 in the manual. This will change settings +/- from the performance tune only.

Yaontto,
Thanks for the reply. When I go to set paramters I get a message that says parameters cannot be modified for this vehicle. This is what has Diablo confused.

Just curious...is it a new Pred, or did you buy it from someone?

Do you have selective ride control? If so, you need to pull a fuse in order for the performance tune to take.

Debmwb,
This is a brand new Predator.

Ruler89,
I don't have selective Ride Control, but I pulled the fuse anyway at Diablo's request. No change. It still says I can't modify parameters.

Thanks, Al
