Default Weird problem with headlights...

I have an issue with the headlights on a car. When you turn the stalk for the headlights, nothing happens, the lights won't come on or pop up but the twilight sintenial option seems to pop them up and work correctly. What would cause this?

I'm also having a problem with mine. I turned my lights on tonight and the drivers side headlight wouldn't pop up but I could see that it was on. The passengers side popped up fine. Are you getting any codes? What do yall think could be the problem for mine?

can you manually crank it up?

If so, raise it up, turn the lights on. Then turn the lights off. If it goes down and not back up, good chance it the nylon gears that are stripped.

If that's it, check for gear replacement in search. I JUST did my right side headlight - gears were stripped.
