Default AC/Delco Ceramic pads...any good?

Nice auction on Ebay now. AC/Delco ceramic pads PLUS 4 slotted and drilled rotors..(GM). Only $295+shipping. Our these pads the low dust pads and are they considered better than stock?

Many members use the ceramic pads made by GM as a solution to brake dust. Cuts the dust big time. I had changed for same reason and have been very happy w/ them. I noticed very little difference and I most certainly bedded in my pads good.
As for as stopping power, not quite on par w/ stock or Z06 pads. If you do not race your car then chances of even noticeing a difference are small. GM wouldn't sell inferior pads if they knew Vet owners were driving into back of other vehicles because the stopping power was greatly reduced. From a pure performance standpoint they are not the first choice. As far as the rotors I am not sure whose they are? Again many members use Sportbrakes or buy from Napa as more cost effective. Good luck

I have GM ceramic pads on my car right now with drilled and slotted sport rotors, their great for keeping the wheels clean and the rotors look nice then all I have to do is reinstall stock pads and rotors for the track.

Drilled and slotted rotors are not meant for the track, that is just my opinion. I know the new C6 with Z51 comes with drilled rotors as well as the new Z06 but I think over time they will develop cracks and as far as ceramic pads go, they are great for the street but don't use them on the track.

Stock Z06 pads stop alot better, but the dusting is pretty bad. The ceramics tend to run my rotors blue, but there is no pulsation at all.

They are just ok, but do not dust very much.
