Default HVAC Problem - No AC on drivers side ONLY?!?

Have a weird HVAC problem with my 97. Its the digital climate control. AC works fine, on the passenger side only. On the drivers side, no matter what I have the temp at, even 60 degrees, only hot air comes out. No errors for the HVAC unit on the DIC.

Anyone have a similar problem ever? What's the fix?

I'm not positive, but I believe that is a sign that the refrigerant is low.

Not refrigerant.

Your driver's side air-mix door in the dash plumbing is not allowing cold air on that side, likely due to a problem with the door actuator. You can try resetting the AC but pulling the fuses and then letting the system reinitialize which includes recalibrating the full open/close limits to see if it corrects itself. If that doesn't work, then the motor may need to have the gear teeth indexed (do a search there's a lot of info on this) or outright replace the actuator.
