Tire psi sensor with non EMT tires
I currently have OEM EMT tires and need new rear tires now. I am thinking about going toward Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's. If I change to a none EMT tire how does this effect the tire psi sensors? Do the sensors still work or are they out of the equation and I need to reset my display everytime I start my car.
Any advise is appreciated. Thanks

I recently went with non-runflats and I bought the Tire Rack comfort kit.
It appears to be good quality and very compact. Its not suppose to mess up the TPS but I don't know that for a fact but maybe I will never need to know. You can use the compressor without the sealer if you choose.
I carry a plug kit also which I would use first if that would fail I would use the comfort kit sealer.
At the very worst I will be able to get the car home and replace or rebuild the TPS when I get time.
Glad I went with the non-runflats.
