Default Code 1232 C ; Service Abs, Service Ah; What's The Fix?

i've had my 99frc w/ jl4 active handling for a week, i've gotten the 1232 code w/ the accompanied abs and trac/ah lights on the cluster, i reset the code and the lights go away and code goes away
what's the cause of this? thanks

1232 is a left front wheel speed sensor, open circuited/short to grd.,more than likely the speed sensor itself puked.fix is replacing it.

It is common for the "jumper harnesses" to the front wheel speed sensors to develop an open circuit. An easy diagnoses is to swap them left to right to see if the fault code moves to the other wheel.Or you can simply replace them, about $30 each

makes sense, i noticed the left harness w/ a sticker build date of 10/2000, the car was built may 1999; i will swap harnesses and see what happens

New ones are improved, thicker casing and improved connector ends.Because the harness is mounted to the lower control arm it develops intermittent opens due to the up and down travel of the control arm

Default As a follow-up.....

I also just acquired a 99 FRC. The dic tells me to 'Service Active Handling'.

How do you read the codes? And, more importantly, how do you find the codes in order to figure out just what the heck is going on?
