Default PCV Valve question...
I have changed over to the LS6 valley cover a while back. My question is: Do I still need the external PCV valve, or does the valley cover have it's own internal PCV valve?

A lot of us with 2004 LS1 engines did not have external PCV as we have the LS6 valley cover.

Still use a catch can though...

I have the catch can. I just didnt know if I needed an external pcv valve.

As far as I know, the valley cover you installed does not have have a pcv. I did the same thing on my '99 and kept my external pcv valve, although I run a catch can now too. HTH

My 02 Z06 does have an external PCV valve.
