Throwing a Code - B2723
I know that the code B2723 means: PASS-Key Detection Circuit
I noticed that my security light was staying on when I started the car a few days ago and check the codes and I had a 4 BCM codes in there. I opened the hood to take a peak and noticed one of the male wire clips to alternator was lose so I pushed it back in and then cleared the codes out. (not sure if that was the reason or not some of the codes were being thrown.) Now I have replaced the battery with a red top Optima about a year ago and it is strong and not leaking.
The security light is off now but I still get this one code. The second I clear it out it just rethrows the code before I even have a chance to crank the Vette.
ANY IDEAS??? -
