Default Convertible Top Removal

How hard is it to remove a convertible top ? I was thinking about
removing my convertible top to save a little weight at the Drags.
How much does it weigh and would it be worth the trouble ?

Thanks >>>>> INTHERED

you will lose weight but the verts run slower with the top down so I don't think the work/weight will improve ET

Since I don't have a rollbar I race with a hardtop and the convertible
top is folded down inside the car. So I pay a double penalty of the
weight of both the hardtop and the vert top.

Isn't that bending the rules It still IS a convertable, not a hard top

Bending them ain't the same as breaking them
