Not a difficult task unless you have LT headers!! Make wure that you get all of the connections on and properly tightened. Are you sure that the starter is bad or do you just ahve a bad electrical connection/

sorry bill curlee not to respond sooner had to do starter on the floor wouldn't suggest to amature really need to put in air on lift,, straight forward when in air ,need to drop stock exhaust down,also if any miles on vette need to have a torch ready for manifold flange bolts break very easily,,i broke three had to wait to monday to put in air and replace bolts since it was easter week end..to my surprise this vette had a rebuilt starter already replaced it with another good to go.. but only 50,000 on 98 vette ,, two rebuilt?????

had mine go bad...damaged the flywheel also....so take a good look...
