which fuse do i pull to airbag??
My 7 year old niece loves my corvette, she loves her Barbie Corvette too (C4). I've had my 99 C5 for awhile now and she is really taking notice of this car. My sister does not want her to ride in it because of the passenger side air bag. I think its kind of an overprotective response. Anyhow, she keeps asking if she can "take a spin". I'd love to take her around the block. I guess my sister thinks I'll take her on a high speed excursion.. Not! My Question is, what fuse can I take out to disable the passenger airbag? On the newer model C5 I believe there is a switch. Correct me if I am wrong, thanks

read the sticker or ck the owner's/shop manual
i won't quote since diff years may have changed the location
w/ the correct fuse pulled, the airbag light should flash on startup, then remain on when the fuse is out

Get the kit!!!!! It is $111 total.
The seatbelt is designed for the airbag. A person can smash their face off the dash board if the airbag does not deploy.
The stock seatbelt is design to "give way" a little so you hit the airbag. You shut the airbag off the belt will still give way and you get even more hurt.
The kit comes with the switch and a new belt designed to hold the person in the seat and not give way.
IMHO, I would not risk anyone life for $111 bucks. I did the switch the week after I purchased my 2000 Vette.
It is very easy, here are a few links:

Good luck
