Default new tranny and clutch, lots of problems

i have a 01 z06 and had the tranny rebuilt, ls7 clutch
installed. car was making a sqeeking sound around the clutch area, so i took in back to the shop. on the way there, my car kick out of gear and the clutch would not engage any more. the shifter would go through the gears, but the car would not move.
the engine would still run fine, it would stay in netrual.

they are looking at it now and claim to see clutch dust
everywhere. could the clutch have been destroyed?
could it have been because of poor installation or bad clutch?

also, when installed the transmission, they cut one of the brake lines. the car had lost a lot of brake fluid on the way to the shop. could this have any effect?

How did they cut a brake line?
Did they replace the slave cyl.
the clutch might not be disengaging completely.

Dayum. It might be too late for this job but I'd be looking for another shop ASAP.

i was thinking no fluid would cause the clutch not to move, but isnt there another resivour for the clutch?

the shop has been pretty unprofessional.
if i took it to another shop and they fixed the problem,
how could i get my money back from the first shop?

well, when i got the car back the car would grind in 5th. the shifter would be VERY hard to get in reverse.

they cut the back brake line on installation.
they didnt hook up the speedometer.

now, they call me back and are telling me that the transmission case and output shaft are broken and are telling me it is my fault.

i am lost, could this be caused by inproper installation?
what legal action can i take?

You may want to look into having another shop do the work for you. Don't know about how you could get your money back from the first one though. Sorry to hear it. Sounds like a poor rebuild of the transmission to me.

Well you can call the credit card company and report it maybe they can help. If they built the tranny I would assume bad rebuild. Call rodney at RPM(forum vendor) get the trans done right the first time.

Rodney did my trans last year. We upgraded everything inside too. It still shifts great even with 50 plus drag passes on it since the rebuild. RPM is the way to go.
