Default Does GMS MAF really increase horsepower/torque?

Replaced GMS MAF yesterday w/stock MAF and really did not notice the difference. Origionally I thought the GMS MAF produced a better 2nd to 3rd gear pull yet the stock MAF also feels this way. By altering the MAF (GMS) does this produce gains that the LS1 can adjust to?

Default Re: Does GMS MAF really increase horsepower/torque? (Buckmaster)

I installed the base C5 GMS MAF om my 2001 Coupe expecting the advertised 15-20 h.p......NOT!
There was a gain in the mid range from about 2500-4500 but it wasn't what I expected.I had to go to a
5% rich calibration before I noticed any SOTP result. It runs well now.Not a bad mod for $289.00.
