Default Help with radiator drain plug

I think I broke my drain plug and need advice on how to replace. I put a 1/8" socket in plug and turned a little. A few drops of coolant came out and I retightened as I was not ready to drain yet.

I go back to drain and the plug simply turns in either direction. Did I break it and if so, how do I get it out to replace?

Is it okay to drive the car with the drain plug like this, it doesn't leak.

Thanks,

Roy

It only turns 1/8 of turn in either direction. 1/8 turn counter clockwise and pull it out a little (there is a pin on the end that cams in a fitting on the radiator tank) to drain the tank. Push it back in and turn it clockwise to tighten. If you turn it too hard in either direction the pin breaks off. Replacement one is about 5 bucks at the local dealer. You need to be sure the pin is properly set so it cannot back out...
