You hold reset while in diagnostic mode...right?

Yes, If you want to erase or "clear" codes, press "reset". Clearing a code does not repair a problem. You are simply erasing the evidence of it in the module's memory.

While in "Manual Diagnostics" the code shown will have a H (historical) or a C (current) behind it. You can clear the H codes and check later to see if they reappear and require attention. The C codes need to be checked then and there. To clear the H codes, while it is shown on the DIC, press and hold "reset" until you hear a chime or ding. You can get a list of the various codes at www.corvettedoctor.com
