Default anybody fix a code C1214?

in lieu of my earlier thread, i'll forgo the ranting about the expired warranty.
so, now the problem is a C1214 and intermittant ABS, AH and TC service warnings. has anybody fixed this problem themselves?

I don't know how much research you have done to this point but most likely you are looking at replacing the EBCM.

Haven't pulled a code 1214 yet. However just days after I purchased my '99 I started intermittently getting the ABS, AH, and TC warnings (also no warrantee). Now they are constant everytime I start the car. So far I'm thinking it's the EBCM. There are many post discussing this problem if you do a seach. The problem it seems, can also be caused by bad grounding. I'm working my way through the grounds before I purchase a new EBCM. There is a good post detailing all the ground locations (IMPORTANT ELECTRICAL INFORMATION (Long!)) I believe it's the first sticky note. Good luck and if you resolve the problem let me know what you found. I'll do the same.

The Body Control Module is located in the passenger upper foot-well. There is a cover panel that pulls out under the carpet at the firewall.

Also see the threads about cleaning the air conditioning evaporator drains on the engine side of the firewall at the area of the BCM. When the drains get clogged, water can overflow into the interior and run down into the Body Control Module area causing much damage.

This thread is pertaining to engine code C1214 and EBCM (electronic brake control module) not the body control module...

EBCM is likely problem with ABS, AH and TC. I thought that's the problem we are addressing.

speaking of all this and specifically how convenient for GM that these seem to fail just months after the warranty expires...
how long do you think it's going to be before someone claims the reason for their accident is the module went bad and they were driving to the dealership to get it fixed when the wheels locked up in a panic stop?
want to start a pool?

despite all the good info, it looks like the actual module is probably going bad.
as stated in another thread, the car was originally SoCal and it's even dryer here in vegas. i've pulled all kinds of plugs and grounds, including the one on the EBCM, and found ZERO corrosion. went ahead and juiced them up with dielectric grease anyway <fingers crossed>

I spent a week cleaning everything, doing other things trying to clear it. Same code 1214.My car has 33500 but is a couple of months out of warrenty. Yesterday I dropped the car off at the Dealer where I bought it new, and they told me they would take care of it. and pick up any open recall and replace an emblem that had peeled off.
Thanks Chevrolet:

I got the car back on Friday and Everything was fixed including the Replacement of the front emblem and They did the Wheel Lock.
