Great sound. I've seen the 10 hp gains from it on other threads. What are the hp gains on the corsa indy and Borla Xr-1 systems? I'm trying to do some exhaust shopping.

Wasn't that car a heads & cam car or doesn't it at least have headers? I thought I remember a thread where you said it wasn't stock..........It sounded good whatever it was though!

Guys,

The car you saw on our video clips is an M6 C5. It has a Halltech Titanium TRIC system, Halltech ported throttle body and TTS long tube headers.

It sounds this way partly because of the headers, but on a stock C5, it will sound about the same. There wasn't much difference that we saw as far as sound goes.

You will be able to see your yellow exhaust plate behind the Magnaflow plate because their plate is not as big as the yellow plate is.

So far, the baddest and best sounding system available for the C5.

Actually the car now equipped with the Magnaflow exhaust system previously had the Corsa Pace car system and the Bassani x-pipe.

After installing the Magnaflow system, the car feels as if it is pulling harder (more torque) over the previous set-up.

Car is being dynoed today to see the overall difference in power over the Corsa and Bassani combo.

We will post the dyno numbers as soon as we get them in.

Here are the dyno numbers with the Magnaflow x-pipe and muffler system:

340.2 RWHP
352.5 RWTQ

Again, car is equipped with Halltech Titanium TRIC Cold Air Intake System, Halltech ported throttle body, TTS long tube headers and Magnaflow x-pipe and muffler system.

There was a gain by switching out the Bassani x-pipe and Corsa system for the Magnaflow, not to mention the sound is killer!!

So the results -

Corsa Indy $850 + Bassini X-Pipe $260 = $1085
Magnaflow exhaust = $1149

Guess now the decision is just a sound preference.

So far, it has yielded better results over the other systems and sounds the way the C5 should have from the factory.
