Default Has anyone used Modulemaster for EBCM repair?

I have an '03 (18K miles) with the ever so popular C1214 code. After reading all the wonderful info on this site, and deciding it is a true EBCM failure, I looked at my options.

1) Dealer - $1585 to remove & replace
2) Do myself & buy part - $855 @ Dealer, $675 gmpartsdirect + $140 shipping? whats that about?
3) Send my unit to Modulemaster - $375+shipping he rebuilds your unit and returns with 5 year warranty.

At this point you can see why I'm leaning towards option 3. Several BMW & Audi sites say this guy is the real deal. But I have not found any feedback on any Vette sites.

Just wondering if any folks have done this yet?

His website is http://www.modulemaster.com.

Thanks,
Jody

Never heard of them, but if they are moving to bigger quarters they must be doing things correctly or their business wouldn't support such a move. I would be interested in your results if you go this route, might make for a good sticky.

Amazing option. My ears are open to your feedback on this place.

Knock on wood - but, I haven't had this problem yet. But, it sounds like more a matter of when vs if.
